Europe and I

Hi!
Today in class we've been reading and discusing about some aspects of how EU is affecting our every day life:
-EU mobile markers are making universal standar chargers.
-European Union inhabitants win the right to full translstion.
-Electronic and electric equipmetn is no longer made of harmful materials.
- New EU rules shelter children from abuse on the internet or in the world.
-EU has made some changes with the trees that are cut.

One of this interested me a lot:The European Union moves fast to respond to catastrophes like earthquakes, tsunamis....When that happen the EU gives shelter, food, medical asistance and gives all the help it can.The main project that the European Union has helped is in the Haiti earthquake. Here we can see two videos: the first one shows how the earthquake arrived and in the second one how is life for people affected in that natural disaster.

ARTICLE

For homework we had to find an article about the European Union and I found this thas explains the American espionage to the European citizens.
The article explains how has been the supposed espionage and how has this affected the EU.
Important people telephones also had been hacked so the parlament is trying with the American authorities to see the impact of his vigilance programs on the fundamental  rights of the Europeans.
in addition, the "eurodiputados" have requested the supposed massive espionage of telephonic calls in Fance.
If you want to know more about this article I'll put downbelow the link, but like I have taken by a Spanish newspaper called "el mundo" is in it lenguage.

EUROPEAN UNION CRISIS

As we all know Europe is facing a catastrophic economic and social crisis that started in the year 2009.
During this years all the countries of Europe had suffered different situations but all related with money. the first country facing the crisis was Greece but countries like Irelan, Italy,Spain... are also in national debts.
The crisis has affected a lot of people around Europe because it has created a lot of unemployement; the unemployement made people to leave their houses so they haven't got place to live; also a lot of young people decided to emigrate to places like Germany because maybe the could find job there.
In places like Greece the insufficience of money had made a lot of cuts in public health, so the level of mental health of the general population is also worse and a lot of people have managed to commit suicide.
The European Union to be as good as 4  years ago needs a rescue closse to a trillion euros, that is a really big quantity od money.
